Killer Blog Hits the Net
This is Thursday. I'm sitting in a computer lab, annoyed with myself. I have so many things I should and could be doing now, but am I doing them? No. I'm playing with my blog. But it's okay, I'll get used to it in time and it will cease to be so enthralling. By then it'll probably be pretty decent too. That's the way the cookie crumbles, my friend.
Talked to Bridget this morning about nothing in particular--mostly about that assignment we have due in my class this afternoon. It's a bummer, I tell you. Worth twenty percent of our final grade, and I'm not finished with it. Oh well. It's not like it needed anything really done to it, other than punctuation moved around and that sort of thing.
After Bridget went to her class, I talked to Jason about sleeping standing up. I have no idea how that conversation started, which is generally how I feel after talking to Jason. Anyway. He mentioned that I ought to try it and I told him I had already, and I'd fallen over while trying. (I was only a kid when I did try. I mean, the sheep and horses could sleep standing up, so why shouldn't I? I learned fairly quickly, let me tell you.) Eventually, once we were in the classroom and a classmate of ours was sitting near us as we continued our discussion, he said I ought to chain myself to the ceiling and that way I couldn't fall over while sleeping. Eee-yeah. She was mildly disturbed by this, but she doesn't know Jason from Adam, and he says things like this fairly often. That's what makes him Jason.
Blake is taking me to lunch today. I need to leave here in about fifteen minutes in order to get ahold of him, since we're meeting in the courtyard which is about a five-minute walk from here, and I don't want to miss him like I missed him on Tuesday. You never know with that boy, you don't.
I talked to Casey a bit, which was fun. She told me that she and Spike aren't getting married this summer as planned, that they're thinking they don't know when they're tying the knot. They will get married, though. Oh yes. They will get married.
So that's about all I've done so far today. Check in later. I might have this thing up and running by then.
