Fresh Drivel
On the Scottish buses at Lost In Transit.
It is too early for people to be saying it is too early for Christmas stuff to be in the shops. Let's not hear another word of it until 23 December.

More drivel.
I'm told all things are linked to everything else by as few as five connections. I was amused to see your references to UK supermarkets. What's the link between Sainsburys supermarket in Winnersh, Berkshire, A postcard on our kitchen wall, And your wonderful site ?
Give up? Don't know? Don't care ? Well I'm going to tell you anyway.
1. We went to Sainsburys recently and bought some Abergavenny cheese with mustard (Y Fenni, the Welsh name for Abergavenny)
2. In an idle moment I searched Google for Y Fenni and came up with a soup recipe using this mouthwatering cheese.
3. I clicked on a link to "more recipes" and up came Gimboland for some reason.
4. I got to your site and read all about the Mothership, the Americans and the Big Merino.
5. The postcard on our kitchen wall is (you've guessed it) from my son who recently returned from Australia.
Perhaps I should look at your link to Hot Soup Girl?
Great Site - keep it up
Best Wishes, Tony in Berkshire
The best thing about Christmas decorations in shops early is that it reminds you that it'll be Christmas is six months or so! Helps keep you on top of the event calendar, I say.
But when they have hot cross buns nestled beside cut price Christmas puddings on December 27, that's just going too far.
I would comment that it's to early to comment on people commenting that it's to early for Christmas stuff to be in the shops - if it wasn't far to early.
So it's not just a localized phenominon. [Big sigh]. Maybe I could dress up as a Christmas tree for Hallowe'en and just be done with it all for the year.
Pah - Harrods and Argos kicked off into krimble mode in August! feh, etc.
