One Year of Marital Bliss

Incidentally that's a backpack on my back, not some sort of quasi-Quasimodo growth.

What happened next? The snowball connected with my head and I screamed, "YOU HIT ME, YOU FUCKER!".

Despite the violence, we are still happy together one year on. I might just even renew my ring insurance policy.

Congrats! And what a great day to be married on! Not only is it MY birthday, but just the date alone tells me how you two will live your lives.... you will "MARCH FORTH" into all Life's adventures together with love!

11 · Spike said:

Of course you realise that you have to have anniversaries because you had weddings. Which is good if people give you stuff and bad if they just overfeed you with tinned haggis.

12 · Spike said:

Bugger. Too quick on the button.

Congratuations (plural) !

Shauna - as an honorary Scottish Lass & a True Blue Aussie, you might be interested in my latest blog post (with pics)...was kinda strange seeing the Scottish Commonwealth Games team practising their march out and about with the kangaroos...I gave them a cheer for ya :)

17 · Mothership said:

Congrats on your first anniversary....I hope the fun and games continued all day with a gold medal performance!

PS What country will you be supporting at Commonwealth Games?

iBook key:...think you've worn it out with too much keyboard twiddling (ahem).. statistically the 'a' key is the third or fourth most used so sounds like you've been thumping ngry letters to scottish gs bout their obscene price increse while they mke such huge profit! nywy i digressed... hve look t www.powerbookmedic.com (ah thats better they've fixed my 'a' already) they seem to have 'individual' keys that you can buy, so maybe theres a supplier here (or maybe ebay? - update yep they do!! search ebay with yer model)

other options - if its possible to strip down a key and replace it might also be possible to strip down and clean it?(see - tiny timtam crumbs get under) ... maybe bend the spring parts a tad.. or swop with say a 'z' or 'q' key bits (cheapo)... i dunno... seems better to have a sticky'q' or 'z' unless youre american and spell things with a lot of 'ize' endings.. final option: set your spellchecker to auto and have it put in an 'a' when you spell it wrong *grins* .. aint i a genius??

most keys prise (prize?) up (careful)

good luck

hmm maybe i should put a 'disclaimer' here... *grins*

Delurking to say happy anniversary! and by all means, renew that ring insurance.

Your picture reminds of a time I picked a snowball fight with a love, just before realizing he was a star pitcher on his high school baseball team! and I wonder why it didn't last :)

Cheers!

Love the photo!

Congrats and here's to many more. Husband and I will be in Las Vegas in two weeks for my sister's wedding -- we haven't been before, so I'm very much looking forward (aside from the excitement about the marriage).

Anyway, I will most certainly think of you two crazy kids while I'm there!

Congratulations, guys! yay!

27 · Kat said:

Woah! A year already? Seems like only last week you were blogging about your childhood.
Oh wait. It was.
Seriously though, this year has gone by really quickly. And I was reading your blog for a while before you got married, so that means I've been an avid reader for ages.
Congratulations. Even with this newfangled speedy time thing, a year is a long time! (12 whole months, in fact. 52 weeks. And so on.)
Glad to see marriage hasn't affected your idiosyncratic writing style we all love.

28 · Leela said:

Congrats, may the good times continue!

29 · Andrew said:

Hey congrats and all that - but has anyone commented on the swan like shape of the female half of this interpid duo? Yowzers as inspector gadget might say - its super model shauna.

30 · Kirsten said:

You two are the sweetness. The Bot'nics look a bit chilly, though.

Deary me, I can't believe it's a year, either.

31 · Beckie said:

What I mean to say is... happy anniversary!

I cant believe no-one has mentioned how incrediblr you look in those jeans. The work 'Slinky ' springs to mind.

32 · Sarfraz said:

33 · Pierre said:

Congratulations kids! Hope you have had a fantastic first year together - and I'm glad my wedding present arrived before the first anniversary (sorry about that dude!)
By the way you are lookin' super slim in those jeans - I'm sure you've been getting many a wolf whistle from construction workers!

34 · Jen said:

I'm with everyone else in not being able to believe it's been an entire year since you guys got married. This must mean that I've been reading for well over two years! (that adult literacy class really paid off :) )

Congratulations :)

35 · Jack Spratt said:

Happy anniversary (belated)! I remember your Vegas wedding like it was yesterday. Great to see everything's peachy, mistress, you two deserve it.
